I like the images because they have a nice light strips in the back of the photo and the angle he takes the photos at it gives it a effect of being big and having a curved feature to show it big like towering over u it also has something in the background like the ground he took the photo on to give it a texture or a ruff background and the effect change in the colour to make it look really blue maybe to make it look like it underwater and the shadows at the top to show that it is ment to look far under the water and to make the blue stand out more.

i think that i need to take more photos and use a different place to take the photos as u can see the floor and a lot of the back ground i could also use a different piece so it got better shadows and a better placement of the camera so there not alot of the background in the photos
this is a 3d sculpture which has 3 layers to create different looks and help the sculpture stand out more. this photograph was taking on a white box with a white back ground with a box light at a 45% angle to create the shadows and to help the colours stand out this photo was taken at eye level with a normal angle of view
Uta Barth
she uses out of focus on her images to get her attention to one part of the images and blur the rest out she also never took the same photo twice they are always different
my evaluation
my first impressions on uta barth is that she doesn’t focus her camera or only focuses a few things to keep our eye on somthing in the photo. I like the way the digital camera can blur out sustain bits of an image rather then the whole image. The style she uses is useing a out of focus photo so make a blurred look or the back image this image shows a red pole but also a blurred background this was taken in 1998 in a outdoor space.
